So I see some of the pipelines were not destroyed and will be able to deliver gas to Europe in not too long. Do you think the USA will allow Europe to get any or will the hissy fit continue? With allies like America who needs enemies? Blinken.
Russia west of the Urals is notorious for looking down on those liveign further east. They're considered useful, but not real Russians. You wouldn't want your sister to marry one. Too Asian.

Actually the far east of Russia has a fairly signifgant Chinese population. That's a very porous border.
The Moscow Carnegie Center, the only organization to launch an independent study, claimed that there were about 250,000 Chinese in Russia in 1997. The Interior Ministry has claimed that there are 2 million. Other estimates place the Chinese population at 5 million.
That was 20 years ago. There is scant news about the current numbers, but you'd better bet Bejing would not cry for the Russian Federation if it were to collapse It could pave an opening to the resource rich area of Eastern Russia within their sphere.
True but somehow with some people's twisted logic it is wrong for the USA, Europe and virtually every Democracy on the planet to help Ukraine defend itself from invasion.
It's not twisted logic. There exists a far right segment of our populace with a strong desire to reshape our U.S. democracy with single party rule with a strongman at the helm. That's behind the utter adulation of Putin and Russia. That's their 'logic'.
Full scale bombing (carpet bombings) are the thing of history. It won't happen. If a missile needs to be put through someone's bedroom window, that's what will happen.
