I think Trump is our Josiah, and he may delay the destruction of the US, but I think the US has been mortally wounded by the past 18 years of foolishness. (15 out of 18, anyway. We had three good years under Trump, before Covid.)

I doubt Kim will do that. He has his own problems below the 38th parallel. Besides there isn't a strategic interest in doing so.
