God is on the side with the most battalions, as Napoleon probably didn't say.

I know WWII has a mythical status in the Russian psyche (and Putin has certainly done what he can to inflate it), but the fact is that in a WWII style conflict, without stuff like railcars and trucks, you lose.

That talking point worked better before Europe stocked up oon LNG to the point that there's now most likely enough for the 2023-2024 winter as well. What else does Russia make that the world needs? Europe is doing fine. (Getting off the fossil fuel teat is a surprising benefit.)

OK, so the UK had to eat turnips for a while, but that was their own fault.

Certainly more possible with China as a benefactor.

Will have to see where things stand this fall.
Yep.....did the allies send enough...on time? Russia is paralyzed on the battlefield right now. They put themselves there.

Edit: this is another fire in a different factory.

If the Ukraine war, sanctions, and boycotts are successful, Russia will never recover. Not completely.

The US would not "provide" weapons to India. We would sell them. For profit. And yeah, I am betting if India wanted a whole bunch of (whatevers) the American companies who manufacture them could do so.

I am still sure Russia could not, no matter who asks.

Man, those who love to talk about success and failure during WW2 should lecture us all about the importance of The Resistance.

Not really. Plenty agree that while lend-lease was important in shortening the war, and saving lives, it did not decide the outcome of the war.

P.S. There is also a timing issue - deliveries volume was much higher later in the war.

I don't know about that, but have you seen Russian women vaping? OMG they have a serious problem with that. I have seen videos of Russian women together and they are all vaping non stop. How they are even still alive I have no idea.

India is already purchasing from the U.S., France and Israel. And from what I see coming out of there, the defense experts want to make that switch.
