That interview is from 2019 (when Zelensky was elected.)
Russians attacked in 2022.

Now ask yourself, what happened within those three years.

Did MSNBC ever fill you in on that one by any chance?

What it sounded like happened is that Russia attacked in 2022. Still not sure what you are trying to prove.

Nothing.
They're just gaslighting you, hoping you will give up and go away so they can spout their nonsense.
Why the nonsense?........ Some may be Russo-bots. Some are just chronic malcontents who wish nothing but the worst for everyone in America.
And probably a couple believe Putin will "nuke the world" if we don't let him do what he wants.

To make the answer very simple - Russia attacked in 2022, precisely because Zelensky renegaded on all his promises that he made back in 2019.

That's if to make it all simple - I reiterate it again.

What promises, from the video that you linked and the parts that you quoted, did he back out of? I am not seeing any promises that he made.

To end the war in Donbass.

This was his major promise, and that's why he was elected as a president, instead of Poroshenko.
That's the one he backed out of.

Pretzel logic gymnastics on display by our Putin bots...

The USA is not perfect either. I think the attack on Ukraine war is even more unjustifiable than the 2nd war on Iraq though, when the USA removed and eventually executed a leader simply because the opportunity was there (2 for the price of 1 warfare). Cheaper by the dozen. Who will Russia invade next, or has Putin's military machine finally crumbled under the weight of it's own incompetence? Can Russia hold out for a decade while India begins work rebuilding all that Russia has lost in this war?

"Pretzel logic" is when MSNBC reports on only one part of the story, and completely omits the other one.

That's what "pretzel logic" is.

Nothing to laugh about.

He produced a lot of television material and made honest money at it. There was a time when American conservatives respected entrepreneurs, their talent and their risk taking. What has happened to you people?
There are plenty of threads where you can do your irrational bashing of conservatives. Save it for those.
It's not irrational to call out a person, any person, on their hypocrisy.

There was a time when a Republican respected hard work, creativity and risk taking. Now some of these propaganda saturated 'so-called' conservatives laugh at it.
