They think that ship was sabotaged.

Cheap oil\gas from Russia and 'trinkets' from China gives Germany extra edge in competition.

And actually they are not over

No federally funded project with humongous cost over-runs like that has any chance of survival, except if it's related to the MIC
I’m not a fan of contractor welfare at the expense of US taxpayers even though the total unaccountability of the DoD budget contributes a lot to the relative affluence where I live.

But the F-35 a this point is a functional aircraft that has been used in combat situations with success- the debugging and testing of the current model is over.

What does that have to do with your claim of the US targeting Western US with sanctions.

When was this? The time it had to be towed from the Med, or the time when it sank with its drydock, or the time when a crane fell on it and pierced the flight deck, the 2019 fire, or just the latest fire?

I don't think Ukraine will get the F-16 or F-15. They have been asking for tanks for months and the USA still doesn't give them any. The Biden Administration is treading lightly for fear of provoking Putin. That's a problem because a bully like Putin feeds on the weakness of others.

Ukraine certainly has some anti-aircraft capabilities, but enough to keep the Russian air force grounded?
According to various reports they had 100-250 (I know, it's a wide range) S-300 systems before the war started.

It’s so sad that a country like Russia exports so many fighter jets to many countries but can’t keep its own functioning Air Force!

Also, BBC reporting just now that the Russian soldiers are fighting “like we’ve never seen before” in Bakhmut - why would Russia think taking Bakhmut would make up for other losses?

The latest one 12/22/22? fire. https://b-port.com/news/275382
Drydock in 2018.
Thought is that somebody does not want Russian aircarriers to exist.
Fwiw.
