Schumer falsely claims Supreme Court 'was all White men' until 1981, ignoring Thurgood Marshall (Senate, history)

So the fact that we had over 100 white men and two blacks as judges in the last 250 years is glossed over because Schumer was off by one.
he was alive for both.
You really have to laugh at every leftist who keeps up with this 100whatever - 2 line. Blacks weren't even considered full legal US citizens until 1865, and 39 SCJ's had already been appointed by then. And women weren't "full citizens" with the right to even vote until 1920.
If you want to make a point, talk about what happened from 1865 to 1967 and 1981, whether Blacks were graduating law school and even gained judgeships. Same for women.
See, that's the HISTORY to teach. Not some stupid ass 100whatever-2.
Democrats also claimed white people invented the practice of slavery. They say the most outlandish things because they can. It's not like their supporters are going to stop or correct them.
Nobody disputes this country was extremely racist for the majority of the history of this country.
I still fail to see how that justifies "I'm picking a black woman for supreme court" or "I'm picking a black woman for vp"
Then again Biden also thinks you're not black if you don't vote for him.
well ....
Our country was started in 1787 - 235 years. 1/2 + 1 of that (simple majority) is 118 years.
1787 to 1865 is 78 years. Not a majority. And if the Northerners were racist, why did they want to end the subjugation of Blacks?
Was Jim Crow practiced throughout the land, or even a majority of states from 1865 to 1964 (Civil Rights Act)?
There are surely some "racist" - well, not necessarily racist but illegally discriminatory - practices like the misapplication of the GI Bill, the misuse of the FHA Loan program, etc that were nationwide. See, that's the history of Blacks in AMerica we should be teaching more of.
