I don’t see large numbers of people from Europe who want to move here; they’d rather stay in Europe where they have 5 weeks of vacation per year, universal healthcare, mandatory maternity / paternity leave, stronger laws against corruption, etc. They generally don’t want to move to America where they would have to work twice as hard for half the pay.
Yes, people from third world countries want to come to the USA, but that’s a pretty low bar. People from third world countries are trying to get to Saudi Arabia too.
Since WW2 we have been footing the bill for your socialist dreams. That money doesn't come out of nowhere. There isn't anywhere in Europe NEAR the population to support all those freebies but we have been doing it since WW2 as a promise relief program. You need a full working society to be able to even think about it and that requires a full free market not backed by fake money.
When Trump came in he ended it by telling EU to fund itself if they want the free stuff so badly not in a mean way but for us to stop playing babysitter at our own expense. I sort of agree with it but there needs to be a plan in place rather then just scrapping something all together that will put a bunch of people out in the streets. Trump has the right ideas and says issues that need addressing but wrong planning methods as he puts his foot in his mouth a lot.
If it came down to that the driver license, social security and all that wouldn't matter the country would be anarchy and breaking up by then.
Driver's licenses are a joke. It doesn't stop anybody from doing bad things. It's the laws in place that do. If we didn't have a driver's license people would still go to jail for breaking driving laws and perhaps make them harsher and driver's license easier to balance the harsher driving laws.

This is true, however the left socialists communists whatever by name, will never give up and you see the increased resistance they are giving now that they are threatened from loosing power.
The most important thing is to get schools back and out of the hands of the left, because that is the future or not of the country. The left have already shown recently that they will play hardball to keep schools in their pocket. The even openly say now parents have no right to say so what is taught in schools in a sense openly saying "we own your kid".

Canada has many providences and I'm sure out west is still largely conservative in their own nature? By west I mean like Winnipeg and points west and east of Vancouver.
So I've been really getting into Canadian politics in the past week because of following the Truck Convoy. From what I gathered, pretty much all their leaders are woke cult members and the corporate media falls 100% in line with the government except maybe the national post which has 50-50 and let the comments fly.
In terms of population, Alberta is most freedom conscious as well as smaller Saskatchewan. Manitoba has a big city called Winnipeg which has a huge native population which has been pandered to intensely as a Marxist proletariat. Just like transgendered are the holy Deity of American woke, "Indigenous" are the Deity of the Canadian woke.
So there's this one "MLA"? guy in Manitoba's provincial government, and he voiced support for the trucking convoy - FIRED the next day. Yes, Canadian elites are woke totalitarians right now. There is hope though, the national Conservative party fired the Neville Chamberlain of Canada, Erin O'Toole, and he plus other candidates seem to have a backbone.
If so which parts? If going to Mexico would it be better to stop there or go further down to South America and would it be better to go by a boat you can (ahem) acquire if you can find a working one or 'acquire' a small airplane and fly under the radar in remote areas if you know the basics of flying and land at a remote strip or non towered airport where only the sleeping dog is the guard and a single fence?
In the Canada scenario where would good and bad places be in terms of politics and geography and in favor of small towns that say NO,etc? I have lived in small towns my whole life so it's no big deal but it would be weird to live in a city!
The left does not have the military or police forces necessary to subjugatge conservative areas. They would be wiped out.
Lets be clear. NO ONE can just "move to Canada ". We have a very strict set of Immigration regulations, that are based on the actual employment qualifications and formal education of the individual applicant. The regulations and the application process is the exact same for EVERYONE, from any country on earth. In 2022 Canada is looking for University graduates, with at least 5 years of direct working experience in their specific area of training. OR skilled and State certified trades workers, again with 5 years of direct working experience. Applying to come to Canada is a competition, not a lottery. We want the best people, that is why we have a points scoring system where the higher your score, the more likely it is that you will be offered a chance to come here. Applicants must.....pass a medical examination that they pay for ion their home country. Provide a Police record from their home country with no criminal convictions. Provide documented proof of their educational standings, and provide documentation of their past employment for at least ten years. Be able to provide proof that they have at least $15,000 Canadian dollars in the bank to cover their first 6 months of living in Canada ( that is for a single person ) or $30,000 for a family of 3.
As I said the process is not easy, and it takes time. Many apply , only about one in eight is accepted. The overall theme is this....What positive things does this person/family bring to Canada, that will improve our country in the future ? We are looking for young educated professionals, who will help us to build a better future for our country. Who will raise their children to be good citizens, and useful contributors to Canada.
