Tuberville never officially won an national championship as a head coach. He got close in 2004 but USC won it (and later had to vacate it) but Auburn was never declared champions after USC had to vacate.

That's pretty much it, I would guess most high profile college football or basketball coaches can run for Governor or US Senator in a specific state and win easily, it is what it is, although they would be taking a massive pay cut, that's for sure!
