Israel is about the size of West Virginia. Gaza is barely double the size of D.C. These are tiny territories we're talking about. There are more important matters for the U.S. to worry about.
That is a bold statement considering history. They gave Egypt back a piece of land 3 times the size of the current Israel, in exchange for peace.
They offered the Palestinians all of Gaza, all of the West Bank, and, And, AND, East Jerusalem, to form their own state in exchange for peace. All Arafat had to do was sign on the dotted line. Instead, he chose an intifada.
They are never going to be offered a better deal than that, but they threw it all away because that would have meant they recognize Israel's right to exist. That would have meant giving up the hope that they would one day have ALL of Israel.
The day they did that, was the day Israel lost hope of a 2 state solution. So here we are.
Can you explain to me how Israel came into existence? Be as detailed as possible.
How did America come into existence?
Does it matter how they came into existence? They ARE in existence.
They have existed as a country for the last 73 years.
They have fought off multiple invasions and held their country.
They aren't going anywhere, so the Palestinians can either accept that and live in peace, or not accept that, and keep fighting a fight they can't win.
Yes, as long as America continues to give them support, they will always be there. Their new shipment of billions of dollars in US arms should be arriving soon. Wonder how many more children they'll kill with them.
Wow, so generous. I'm shocked they wouldn't agree to it.
It was very generous, considering they didn't have to offer them anything at all.
In fact, it was all the land that the Palestinians demanded.
The only demand they didn't grant is the demand for the end of Israel.
...oh, wait. They didn't phrase it that way. They phrased it as "the right of return". Which means the end of Israel.
