Nobody has to root against America. Our leaders are making bad choices and will pass the costs down to the citizenry. The damage is self inflicted.

The beauty of America is it is large, spacious, and has plenty of prosperity to go around. Liberals have their cities of sin, and conservatives have their quiet, peaceful communities, far removed from all that unnecessary ruckus. Part of the deal, and what makes this all work, is we don't tell you how to live your life, and you don't tell us how to live our lives. But we all bare the consequences of our actions mostly on an individual basis. At least, that's the way it is supposed to work. The Joe lovers will blame Trump. It is gonna get much worse with a housing crash less jobs bob and $6 a gal gas pal and war with N- Korea and Iran that we will lose. Food prices will go the moon june.
This is the welfare state that Dems were warned about....the GOP kept telling everyone that if you keep printing money, and passing never-ending stimulus plans..there will be no incentive to work...the Dems and their voters kept saying "it isn't that simple"....well now look at us. We are EXACTLY where the GOP said we would be months ago.
History has shown that whenever the government creates a social entitlement--even if intended to be temporary---it becomes impossible to get rid of. NOW we have large swaths of able-bodied adults who DO NOT want to work, and expect their $300 a week checks, free healthcare, free childcare, free college and all while being told that they are "owed" it because employers have been hoarding the profits and "exploiting" labor.
This, exactly, 100%.

Once a social entitlement is created, it pays in perpetuity. Can anyone on this forum name ONE social entitlement that has been eliminated? I always say, "put the money in and watch what happens (they come running). (Try to) Take the money back out and watch what happens." (It doesn't happen).
This administration is hell bent on running this great country into the ground. It's time for right to prevail - literally.

I seriously doubt it. Even if it does happen, we'll survive inflation just like we did before, even though President Ford's silly WIN buttons didn't do much good. Whip Inflation Now! He was a Republican president who got voted out, like Trump.
