Maybe she's afraid that Peter Doocy may get a chance to ask some serious questions in the not too distant future? Or it could be that she may have a conscience after all and doesn't want to be associated with such a corrupt administration and their cronies? I don't think that we'll ever get the answer to that? They all say that they want to be closer to their families and children as a reason for stepping down.
She probably has nightmares about Peter Doocy.

She said 'within the year' meaning 7 months tops.

Jen Psaki Says She’s Stepping Down

White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced Thursday that she plans on leaving her current role within a year.

“I think it’s going to be time for somebody else to have this job in a year from now or about a year from now,” Psaki said in an interview with CNN’s David Axelrod. Psaki said she wants to spend more time with her kids.

Yes she's confirming -- as she said at the start -- that she would not be staying long...so she'll leave next year.

Yes she is the first press secretary that didn't have answers to everything I estimate she has had 30 press briefings in 4 months so yes there are some things she can't answer.

It's a shame I never heard Grisham circle back I would have loved to hear anything, just anything.

I don't think you watched any press conferences by Stephanie Grisham and Sanders, Stephen King even offered here a few hundred thousand dollars if she would have a press briefing.

I don't think you ever watched one of her press briefings, Peter Doocy was embarrassed by Psaki and it's not the first time.

Quote:
Is the White House concerned that Major League Baseball is moving their All-Star Game to Colorado where voting regulations are very similar to Georgia?” Doocy asked, a question predicated on bull****. To which Psaki responded, rhetorically stuffing the Fox News correspondent in a locker: “Well, let me just refute the first point you made. First let me say on Colorado, Colorado allows you to you register on Election Day. Colorado has voting by mail where they send to 100% of people in the state who are eligible, applications to vote by mail; 94% of people in Colorado voted by mail in the 2020 election. They also allow for a range of materials to provide, even if they vote on Election Day, for the limited number of people who vote on Election Day. I think it’s important to remember the context here: The Georgia legislation is built on a lie. There was no widespread fraud in the 2020 election. Georgia’s top Republican election officials have acknowledged that repeatedly in interviews. What there was, however, was record-setting turnout, especially by voters of color. Instead what we’re seeing here for politicians who didn’t like the outcome is they’re not changing their policies to win more votes, they’re changing the rules to exclude more voters, and we certainly see the circumstances as different. Ultimately, though, it’s up to Major League Baseball to determine where they’re holding their All-Star Game.”

You forgot the part where the administration said they hired her for a year or so . . . this is not unexpected and she's not "stepping down" now, but anticipates that she will move on in a year or so.

She's brilliant.

So she was the only honest press secretary.

Nobody has the answers to everything.
