I'm thinking of registering my door knob as a student this semester. Any objections?
If you want to be an exception to the rule, you are free to do so.

You always seemed fairly gifted in perception, maybe you could learn to open doors to others and put your door knob to use. Or close the door on natures gifts, it swings both ways and serves two purposes.

Personally, I look to the one who holds the Key of David.

P.S. I was borderline autistic as child, depending on where I was and who I was around.

The same happened in the early 1990s when they were eliminated "gifted" programs to fund English as a 2nd language programs. One of the reasons we moved to Washington State. Now that our kids are successful adults we have no regrets.

Some will. Most don't want to be labeled racists that block equity. Others are too busy watching Netflix.

Most people are not as brave as the Hollywood Ten were in 1947.

Then it was Sen. McCarthy accusing people of being communists. Now the epithet if "racist". The results are the same. Public shaming including loss of employment and public humiliation. This lasted from the Truman administration into the Eisenhower first administration. That's a long time.

It behooves people to read "Ike and McCarthy: Dwight Eisenhower's Secret Campaign against Joseph McCarthy" by David A. Nichols.

The best way to teach the many area's of math to people who have trouble getting it on paper is giving them projects to build, and then show them all the math that went into that. That is just one example. Mixing instructions is another simple way to teach math, which is found in many applications. Where the results are right in front of them rather than a figure on paper.

When they do that, then it makes sense on paper.

What good is math without application. It also shows the importance in everyday life.
An excellent point! I always had difficulty in math. It was only when enrolled in a carpentry apprenticeship program that a lot of what seemed confusing on paper made perfect sense in the practical application.

Anyone who opposes will just be labeled a racist, and potentially losing their job, lifestyle, ostracized, etc.

Sort of like back in the early Soviet days, where any criticism got the label of "anti-Soviet activities", and getting that label was the worse thing that could happen, could even lead to death, but it was a great way to silence people.

Many of them are probably heading for the exits out of California. Where they'll then vote for the same damned thing all over again in their new home.

You're not an idiot.
Public education has become nothing more than George Orwell's book 1984; which was actually once required reading in many public schools.
Back then they actually tried to encourage independent thinking, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
Not so much these days, God help our poor children.

.
This is exactly what the new CA standards are proposing.

The proposal mentions disparities between whites and people of color with math, but ignores that Asians outperform whites in math.

We must all be dumbed down to match the left's low standards for certain minorities in the name of equity and diversity.

The road of woke leads to idiocracy.
