I have a suspicion, of course with nothing to back this up ... that Powell was fed this story by someone or some set of sources deliberately to manipulate her.
It is possible that this was part of a disinformation campaign, and she fell hard for it.
She was a repeated guest at the Trump white house, even after Trump 'fired' her (which suggests the firing was a bit of stagecraft). It is disturbing to see how such a person could get so intimately close to the seat of power.
She wasn't alone in that regard, Giuliani and others were also part of this but maybe not so specific in their accusations and interestingly did not claim actual fraud. Her expert opinions that she relied on when it came to voting machines turned out to not be experts.
What was her motive then if it wasn't to address a wrong? Was it to make a buck? To destroy a company? To put people's lives in danger? Is she saying she had SCOTUS waste its time on her self acknowledged farce? No matter what, it doesn't look good for her. Now she is running, hopefully overseas.
Next up: the pillow guy.

On the face of it, she is calling Trump supporters irrational, or perhaps fools. Some sort of "unreasonable"! They are unreasonable if they believed her.
On the other hand, she is saying that the reasonable ones knew it was false and were in on a massive lie along with her. Those people spread the lie, here and elsewhere, deliberately.
So which category does Trump fall in?
Well - I saw this this morning and an article that Trump is desperately trying to remain “relevant” - whatever that means.....
Both he and Sidney will need to up their game - because behind bars in prison - it will get much much harder.
