Powell and Alex Jones have a lot in common, both are entertaining but short on facts.

I recall Trumpers claiming she was one great legal mind and going to change the election.

LOL. This is hilarious. Shes literally trying to defend herself by saying that Trump supporters would never be so unreasonable as to believe she was being honest. Yeah thats not going to be successful. Kinda harsh seeing her say this after so many folks DID believe her.

I mean yeah....this is both hilarious, and rally kinda sad too. Because she really is pointing out just how badly theyve led people astray.

Oh yeah, I get that.

But after all is said and done - there will be plenty of folks here who will believe that that she is an innocent victim of the "swamp".

It will be a miscarriage of justice if she is allowed to practice law after this is all done.

She played 71 million people for fools. Most of them were eager to believe it.

I think DJT always knew it was nonsense, but it was nonsense that had plenty of potential benefits for him, so he encouraged it. That's the kind of character he has: opportunistic without integrity.

After all, Trump's political base was initially built upon a hoax (some still believe it and maintain "he had to say that" when he admitted Obama was born a US citizen. That indicates they are ok with him lying for political purposes.). It is a method which has worked for him before and keeps working. Like wallflowers at the junior dance, these people WANT to be lied to!

This is very revealing of the lack of respect Republican leadership has for the average rank and file supporter.

Here is the conundrum:

On the face of it, she is calling Trump supporters irrational, or perhaps fools. Some sort of "unreasonable"! They are unreasonable if they believed her.

On the other hand, she is saying that the reasonable ones knew it was false and were in on a massive lie along with her. Those people spread the lie, here and elsewhere, deliberately.

So which category does Trump fall in?

Powell, appearing with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, claimed without evidence at a November news conference that Dominion’s electronic voting systems had switched millions of ballots to Biden. She also claimed that Dominion was created in Venezuela to rig elections for a dictator.

She had nothing to back up her claims but of course Trump supporters immediately believed her because he couldn't have possibly lost the election, he had all those great rallies how could how could he possible lose. But of course his hard core supporters will believe just about anything, it even extended over to Fox News where the lies where constantly repeated even some congressmen joined the in to mislead the public.

She needed to have some basis for brining these lawsuits, she had none.

I wonder where Giuliani disappeared.

The categories his admission in the bus recording and 'Lil Kimmy's making an abject fool of him firmly established him within.
