Yes that idiotic logic isn't going to win him the presidency. He has been a failure at combating the Virus and it shows everyday.

So? Shouldn't the government be doing more to defeat cancer? If they are going to inconvenience our lives in an effort to defeat a disease that kills 1000 Americans every day, they should be doing more to defeat a disease that kills 1500 Americans every day. It's basic common sense. Unless you just want to see more Americans dying...

Apparently you aren’t aware that they ARE doing far more on cancer?

A LOT more money has been spent on cancer research than covid.

Wow, Obama really let us down then because cancer is still a pretty big problem, more so than COVID.

Are you aware that this third wave covid spike could easily send deaths over 1500 a day?

That’s what can happen with a highly infectious airborne disease.

The comparison to cancer is rather absurd.

It is a pandemic.

It has nothing to do with Trump; it exists everywhere in the world.

The virus itself has nothing to do with Trump.

Mitigation efforts in the US certainly do.

OMG NOT comparable at all.

firstly cancer is not contagious and not airborne. Secondly, much has been done to try to prevent cancers like colonoscopy and other screenings. And warning labels on things that may cause cancer. If anyone does get cancer there are plenty of things one can do to to mitigate it like chemo, radiation , surgery, clinical trials. With this VIRUS under Trump there's no leadership. He has suppressed any and all mitigation. He's not listening to scientists and doctors that told us how to successfully stop the spread. He's consistently making things worse by saying its no big deal and holding maskless rallies that bring about more cases and deaths. He's making it worse not better.

So.1000 a day dying I guess is perfectly acceptable when it fits your narrative.
