Trump could have a cure for Covid, a real genuine cure and the headlines the next day would be "Trump puts Doctors out of Work" .

It is all about the spin these days.
Are you ok then with the president of the US not having to answer questions or have the American people knowing what he is doing?
Tough questions are exactly what the president should be prepared to answer.

"while it's true that of 20MM jobs lost, 11.4MM have been recovered, yet unemployment claims are running at historically high levels"

it took the Obama Admin 3.5 years to get unemployment below 8%.

Post-pandemic, we're already down to 7.9%

in the roaring times of Oct 2007, initial jobless claims were 298K and continuing claims were 2.1MM. In Oct 2019, those figures were 187K and 1.4MM

"you called Dr Fauci and other health professionals 'idiots'"

No, he never called Fauci an idiot.

That's a "tough but fair" accusation?

"what about these rallies, people aren't wearing masks"

many of these rallies occurred 7+ days ago. Where are her stats showing that cases are rising in those locations?

"if they end it (Obamacare), people with pre-existing conditions will be stranded. That's just a fact."

No, it is NOT a fact. This is the only fact:

but for whatever reason, Leslie wasn't composed enough to just ask "Why did you call Fauci a disaster, and why did you refer to others as 'idiots'?"

by the way, she also claimed in a question to Pence that Trump called Fauci an idiot.

In fact, his direct quote doesn't say the other task force members or any Covid health professionals are the idiots:

Quote:
"People are saying: 'Whatever. Just leave us alone.' They’re tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots,"
and, for what little it's worth, he said it on a (supposedly) private call among campaign staff. He didn't get up in public and say it.

Regardless, why was the question not "When you said "all these idiots" who were you referring to?"

"no, no they didn't spy on your campaign"

What was Carter Page, but a Trump campaign adviser?
