I actually think there could be a big difference between 50-51-52, because you have a couple of conservative Dems like Manchin who are probably not going to be reliable votes on big progressive agenda items.

I agree with this one. Lindsey even coming close to losing is a shock. If you had asked me I would have said his biggest threat would be a Republican primary.

But I think him doubling down so hard on not putting a SC in place during a election, and to use his words against him if he ever did-and then doing EXACTLY what he said he would not....I think thats hurt him. You can lie all you want as a politician often....but I think people have a limit. And he went past it. The recent begging for money as well has made him look...weak.

I've always despised him because he is all about the politics, and ZERO about leading. but I would have never imagined he would come close to losing a general election. But here we are.
