Who will carry the Torch?

After Trump is no longer in office (let us assume for argument's sake 5-1/2 years), who will carry on in his place?

Is there a legitimate successor to the Trump legacy waiting in the wings?

Ted Cruz? Stephen Miller? Tom Cotton? ... is there anyone else more uniquely qualified? What will the Trump movement do for an encore?

What is the vision for the Trump movement in the coming decades? Who can be entrusted with the torch?

Hopefully nobody, hes been nothing but polarizing. He just magnified the extremes we were already dealing with. Would be nice to see someone reasonable and who is not super extreme on either side, who actually knows how to get both parties to work together so they can go back to wasting all of our money without all of the kicking, screaming, and fighting.

Leftists have been moving to the extreme and gravitating closer towards Marxism. That's because Trump expresses deep love for America and Americans, and that really irks leftists. It's kind of funny actually because leftists would absolutely hate living in most Marxist orientated countries. Why are leftists so interested in harming themselves and others?

Very well be could be Nikki. But I don't think she would be "carrying the torch". Savvy politician that she is she read the handwriting on the wall early on and disassociated herself from Trump.

Both sides have lost their minds, its not exclusive to one side.

good grief, we are still in 2019, and working on the 2020 elections, why are you even thinking about 2024? are you now wanting the parties to start running presidential campaigns 5 years in advance? do you really want to confuse the average voter?

how about we get through 2020 first, and then think about 2022 before getting to 2024. does that make sense to you? we are not going to know the mood of the country until 2022, so we wont know who is going to run for president in 2024. speculating now is thus a non starter.

He's only polarizing because cnn repeats orange man bad.

A paper napkin would be polarizing to the far left. The far left refuses to work with anyone else.

Most of Trump's policies are similar to bill Clinton's in the 90s so there goes that argument.

Looks to me like the average conservative is in the same frame of mind as under Obama. They are not moving to the extreme. They are more open to things like ending the war on drugs and they don't mind abortion as much as years past. Conservatives have moved closer to the center on most issues over the past 20 years. You could call them the new moderate base. Leftists continue to push deeper into left field, showing America just how wacky they can be.

Nah, not even close. Clinton was basically a free trader while Trump is a protectionist/statist.
