British Olympic minister Hugh Robertson literally laughed off the possibility that Mitt Romney would be involved in carrying the Olympic torch after his disastrous visit to the country. During an appearance on BBC2′s Newsnight, Robertson broke out in laughter as the host suggested that Romney carry the famed symbol of the games and said, “certainly not after today.”

This is like Bush Redux. The whole world made fun of our President and our country for being stupid enough to elect the idiot faux cowboy twice and now we are sending an even more arrogant and awkward candidate to other countries to lob insults.

No wonder the entire planet has a dim view of Americans.

However Bush is a funny guy who have no problems making fun of himself, so it is okay. To be honest, if Bush had better policies, I don't think the rest of the world would have too much problems with him.

Romney is a stiff guy who keeps making a fool out of himself. That is way worse.

At this rate, they're not going to need them.

All they have to do is to sit back and let Mittens speak off script.

Yes, I've noticed how quiet the Obama campaign has been this week. You know what they say--never interrupt your enemy when he is making a fool of himself. The Obama campaign should be paying Romney for how hard he's working for them. There isn't enough money in the world to buy the kind of negative images and soundbites these last few days in Britain have rendered. Heh. Mitt the Twit.

But when you sit in the big chair; your policies and your demeamor aren't separate. The whole world was laughing at Bush and he still got two terms.

Mitt the Twit

Mr. Bean

Worse than Palin

American Borat

No amount of PAC money could have ever damaged Romney as much as he just damaged himself. He is a laughingstock worldwide now. I mean what kind of super genius waits until the entire world is paying attention to London and the Olympics and uses that opportunity to make a fool out of themselves. Romney could have insulted the London Olympics all he wanted in May and very few people would have cared or noticed. This week not so much.
