I could certainly see him declaring the emergency, ordering the wall, then resigning as a “winner”.
That, in all reality may be exactly what is going to happen.
He wants to leave his presidential mark in history.
He has to options that he could do right after Feb 15.
One as you state, call a national emergency, or one other he may have given some thought to, and that is telling congress he will resign if he gets complete funding for the wall, not just the five billion.

Remember, just today in his speech in the rose garden he stated he has other options, and is looking into them.
Perhaps this is one he has not made public yet.

Bob.

You wish.

There's a higher probability that you will quit creating nonsense scenario threads than there is that President Donald J Trump will resign.

No one knows what Trump may do now, he lost a good deal of credibility today in caving into demands to re-open the govt, heck, it hasnt even been 'months yet' and he is already giving in??!! LOL

He is truly pathetic, Im sorry it took me so long to recognize this.

Bob.
The 5 stages of grief and loss are: 1. Denial and isolation; 2. Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance. People who are grieving do not necessarily go through the stages in the same order or experience all of them.

You are definitely in a denial phase.

Being compared to a Rhodes Scholar is not exactly an insult. Being compared to a sycophantic propaganda tool for a dictator actually is.
