Nah...only bumper sticker length agenda points are capable of comprehension by the high school dropout deplorables.

It would probably make their collective heads explode when they realize we probably need TWO walls: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...gs-immigration

Which gets us back to main issue... trump voters only want a wall against certain race individuals and they probably don't care about a Canadian wall. The hypocrisy on immigration is pretty clear anyways since many red states skirt everify and employers are rarely if ever penalized: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...arely-enforced
Never heard of this wall technology that only works on certain races. Link?

Not totally accurate.. He also said that Mexico would pay for it.

If we had millions of illegal aliens coming through our northern border then we'd want a wall there to but that's not the case. Race card pulling duly noted.

As for e-verify it was the Democrats that voted it down the last time and Trump has it in his 2019 budget.

I got curious about this 2006 wall you keep talking about. You're seriously mistaken if you think Congress both approved and appropriated enough funds to build a Brownsville-to-San Diego wall. They appropriated only enough to build 654 miles of what really wasn't a wall, but a tall fence that, between fiscal 2010 and 2015, had been breached, i.e., broken through, 9,287 times, costing an average $784 per breach to repair. That 654 miles of fencing cost 2.3 billion dollars to fix, and the maintenance costs will be substantial.

And how effective has it been? Totally ineffective. Border crossers simply cross where the fences aren't.

source

In other words, you're mad at Congress for not throwing billions more dollars at a "solution" that simply didn't work and will never work. But along comes this huckster real estate developer, using the oldest developer con in the world to sell a boondoggle project-- it won't cost us a thing, because we'll build it with other people's money. Your coveted wall would be as effective as the Maginot Line was for the French in WW2.

There's no way to imagine what anyone who voted for Trump might be thinking, except that it would not follow a rational pattern.

Trump doesn't want the wall.

He's had two years with a Republican Congress and nada.

He could have attached it to their payday loan tax scam. What's another $5 billion when you're going in the hole a trillion a year anyway?

Please explain why every American had the right to believe that Mexico would be willing to pay the cost for building the wall? Not enough Republicans want America to be stuck with building the entire wall.
