Regardless of what Wikileaks was about a decade ago, it is a Russian operation now. Servers within the Russian Federation. The whole nine yards.
I realize this is going to be difficult for many to wrap their heads around, but yes there is indeed evidence that the Russian hacked DNC emails. In fact, a number of Russians have been indicted. In the GRU, no less.
How do we know there’s evidence that the Russians hacked the DNC? The FBI never laid a hand on their server to investigate. The DNC got to use their own IT company to review the server. How do we know?
That’s not to say I don’t believe it was Russian hacking, just that it leads to a very weak case. The FBI should have insisted the DNC turn over their server. The RNC did allow the FBI to investigate its server. It makes one wonder what the DNC was hiding.

You want a smoking gun for the Russian collusion? This is it. We still don't have proof who fired the gun, but it is smoking alright. Big time smoking.
1. The Russians stole the data and sat on it. (Which makes one wonder why they stole it in the first place). And miraculously the Trump campaign had an epiphany and completely changed their strategy. A strategy that would align with the analysis of the stolen data but their epiphany is completely independent of it.
Or
2. The Russians stole the data and anonymously dropped it off at the front step of Trump's campaign. The Trump campaign, without questioning where the data was from, bought into it 100% and started to change their strategy.
Or
3. The Russians stole the data and shared with the Trump campaign. In other words, collusion!
