Is it paying for the roads and infrastructure we are responsible for in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.?

I can't stand Trump but I have no problem with an increase in the gas tax. It's long overdue.

This is dead on arrival. Conservatives are not going to sign up for a regressive tax.

As usual, we only have a few mature individuals willing to discuss the proposal while the rest just resort to partisanship.

I'd prefer some sort of indexed gas tax that is reviewed every 3 years by set formula so we don't have to go through all the partisan grandstanding and whining regardless of the party in office.

I'd be surprised if we don't have some sort of gas tax thread in the past here with many posters now presenting 180-degree opinions on the topic.

Still is and always has been and always will be.

All of us have retirement tied into the Wall Street.

It’s not true that Wall Street is some rich club.

I would hardly call 52% of Americans "all of us".
