Many of them hate it, at least the white ones do and you may be surprised to find out that many black women hate it as well. When an African American congressman decided to have hearings on rap music and it's culture of negative stereotypes and exploitation he invited numerous feminist groups, black and white, to the hearings.
The PMRC was founded by 4 women, rap was not on the mainstream media attention list when the PMRC was created, but they sure profited from the wrong headed decision that this "committee" brought forth. See: 2 Live Crew
