When it comes to Marshall Mathers, I think it's important to remember that his relationships have been profoundly affected by his difficult upbringing and struggles with addiction & mental illness, which comes across quite clearly in his music. He's a very talented but troubled man. I don't take his lyrics personally; rather, I see them as an indication of a person spiraling out of control and lashing out at what he sees as convenient targets. It really has nothing to do with feminism.

LOL, no but I loved Tammy Wynette's "Stand By Your Man" and Hank Williams' "Hey Good Lookin'".

Not everything is about politics.
