I voted for Hillary. But I am tired of these sanctimonious European "leaders" lecturing us over compassion while we pay for it. Just as most parents don't enjoy being lectured by their 16 year old offspring about generosity to the latest "needy" group to come along.
your goverment is behind the migrant crisis which is causing trouble in europe , do you understand that ?

your country is taking in a miniscule number of syrian refugees , you should be taking in all of them

them giving them more weapons that they can turn on us....then insulted and slapped in the face our friends and allies who have stood with us. It is disgusting.
^^^ This!

Clearly tiny Europe is incapable of defending itself from massive Russia:

European Union 509 Million People with a $16.31 Trillion GDP has nukes.

Russia 146 Million People with a $1.33 Trillion GDP has nukes.

We must subsidize the military expenses of Europe for another 72 years. It is a basic human right to have the US pay for your defense. Only if Hillary had won, we could have built more military bases in Europe to prop up local economies there while letting Europe relax its military spending so they can fund their healthcare more.

Additionally, I was perfectly fine with Obama doing bigger military arms deals with Saudi Arabia, selling to Yemen, letting assault rifles fall into the hands of murderous drug cartels, dumping free tax-payer funded weapons to every moderate rebel from power vacuums that he created in Libya to Syria that almost always end up being ISIS, Al Qaeda, or some similar group. But I am outraged that Trump may do the same sort of Obama stuff, because of 9-11 and his orange cheeto-skin. Am I right?

This is a fair comment if you are someone who does not care if the Islamization of your country occurs. The US does not want that to occur, or at least a portion of the US citizens do not want that to occur. Therefore, we are no longer aligned and cannot be relied upon to support Germany's take over.

These stats don't lie:

We've poured a massive fortune into rebuilding and then protecting Europe since the end of WWII a mere 72 years ago. I think you make a great point that we need to dump another fortune over the course of the next 72 years as Europe is incapable of accomplishing anything and that it is a basic human right to have the US protect you from the big boogeyman.
Well if we don't keep pouring money in are we still a "reliable ally"?</sarcasm>

Iran is the one that is destabilizing the rest of the ME, regardless of how peaceful Shi'ite Islam supposedly is.

Europe could have read " The Art of the Deal " maybe they are beginning to walk from the table. You don't like us as a partner, then we will back away. US may never have thought of that possibility. Then Europe can cause Trump to reevaluate how the US can deal with the world without allies.

No, he did not have any sources, and clearly you don't have any either. Trumps own people are doing this because they are fearful of his incompetence.

They have ignored every president who brought it up. There is no contractual obligation for them to pay 2%. US spending over 3% is entirely our own choice. They never asked us to pay 3%. They also never asked us to build bases in Europe. We built them because we wanted to.

Wouldn't they have found listening devices by now ?

Less than 5% of the US Military is stationed in Europe and the amount spent on Europe is a fairly small proportion of the overall US Military Budget.

Furthermore the vast majority of countries in Europe do not have US Military bases or have only a tiny amount of US Military activity, the vast majority of the US Army is in Germany and Italy, and the USAF only has a handful of frontline bases, whilst US Naval Support is mainly in Italy, and helps the US to extend it's reach in the Mediterranean and Middle East/Africa.

To prentend the US is spending vast amounts and the rest of NATO are freeloaders is nonsense, if the US wants to shut it's bases then so be it, however this would make it far more difficult for the US to operate on the global stage or to launch operations overseas and might effect areas such as logistics and intelligence. But that is the price the US would have to pay.
