No. I think there are a few rabble rousers spewing vitriol that are making it seem like there is more division than actually exists in the general population.

Media has a lot to do with it. The rise of talk radio played a role. It was discovered that the more bombastic and confrontational the conversations were, the more their ratings went up and the more money was made. With the arrival of Internet video, the rhetoric became even more hysterical. Now we have sites inventing stories out of thin air to generate income through clicks.

There's blame to go around on both sides of the political spectrum, but yes, very opinionated and unscrupulous media sources accentuate the political divide and profit from it.

Do You Believe There's So Much Hatred In This Country That We're Almost At Point Of Being UnGovernable

I hope so.

I agree, part of the curse of the 24hour News Cycle. So much info out there, beit real or fabricated, that anyone can find opinions out there to suit what ever need they may have, no matter how on point, or off base.

Blame the malcontents, Rush Limbaugh, Lou Dobbs, Hannity, and Fox News in general. Then the Tea baggers started their crap. Then Republican Obstruction for 8 years. Now, McConnell wants to know why the democrats are obstructing. Really? Republicans are either a little touched or have a case of Alzheimer's. Possibly both....

I don't know what you mean by talk radio unless it's that junk we hear about that spews hatred. We have call-in radio shows around here where people discuss things but that wouldn't play much of a role in anything.

If you mean that "religious" hate radio, then yes. I've never heard it but from what I am told, it's some guy hollering and fanning the flames of hatred. That would have a lot to do with it.

Since they are not going to stop, then I think it's only going to get worse. Trump spews hatred and is not even trying to represent the American people, over half of whom didn't vote for him.

He's hijacked the country. It's like a take over. Maybe his man, Bannon, is right in saying that it's all over and now all we can have is chaos and war.

Exactly.

We've never had such an Anti-American president who constantly belittles our intelligence and media whilst being totally devoted to a foreign leader and beholden to a foreign country .
