This sounds more like blackmail than anything else. We all kinda had this feeling already, but the fact that he goes public with this statement just confirms his intent to spread dissension rather than news.
So then all those countries know how wrong CNN was in predicting Trump's chances of winning, right?
Run unvetted stories that have inaccurate information?
Fabricate lies?
Attack his supporters as racist or bigotted or misogynistic?
Oh, wait, they already played those cards? What is left? Will CNN try the truth?
They won't face the truth. Like the remaining far left on this forum who won't give Trump an ounce of credit NO MATTER WHAT he does to their own benefit.

Rotten to the core liberal. I would shut them down until they register themselves as a Fake News organization.
He's just stating a fact. I'm guessing there was no other way to explain reality to the White House, who seems intent on declaring war on our democratic free press.
There is absolutely nothing 'democratic' about a press that colludes with a presidential candidate in an effort to force a specific election outcome.
And that is why Trump has spent the last year calling the media crooked, and claiming all media outlets (except Fox News of course) are failing and going out of business. He has trained his supporters to distrust the media, so that when they do print things about him, they won't believe it. No matter how true those stories are.
He was able to prove this works over the weekend with the inauguration crowd numbers. Plenty of his followers are agreeing with him, saying the media is lying about the number of people who attended the inauguration. It doesn't matter that the pictures tell a different story, they'll believe whatever Trump says since the media is now crooked and full of "fake news".
May come as a surprise to folks who get their political opinions strictly from left wing talking points, but many of us are very capable of observing what's happening around us, listening and understanding what we read and see on the news outlets, and make our own decisions about what we believe and how we regard things. We don't need any "training" by Trump, the main stream news media or "talking points" to tell us how we need to view these things. We can see the obvious bias in the news media towards the left, its hatred of Trump is obvious to anyone with even a modicum of reading comprehension or powers of observation.
And since you bring up Trump's inauguration and the numbers who attended this event, yes, as you say, pictures do speak for themselves. Seems that CNN updated its pictures of the inauguration from the earlier one taken three hours before the event began compared with Obama's 2009 event during his swearing in. It looks as tnough Trump was right in saying that many more people attended the event than shown in that early AM picture CNN was attempting to pass off as a lousy attendance/support for the new President.
Linked below is a gigapixel picture taken by CNN, around noon. You can scroll around 360 degrees, see that the crowds extend all the way down the mall. It's reported that the numbers are actually larger than those attending Obama's inauguration. I don't know if that is true or not, but it's obvious a lot more people attended Trump's inauguration than CNN, and other left wing media would have the public believe.
Yeah CNN is watched in all these foreign countries too bad only a small % here in the U.S. cares to watch them ... move to Russia then a$$ hole take that sorry news network with you.
guess what Trumpy folk that is the WHOLE POINT of a free press. A press that can hold a lying fool to account, a press that can tell it like it is. Trump ought to have more sense than to think he can run the country while purposely alienating the majority of the population. CNN, is completely correct to give him a heads up and a chance to pull his head out .
the more Trump fights the better the ratings. Both MSNBC and CNN are fully aware that that there are tens of millions of American viewers up for grabs.... Trump is being setup by his own party from what I can see, they are going to drop him as soon as he publicly threatens to shut down a newspaper, and you know he will.
Guess what Libby Folks. This is the WHOLE POINT of a Free Press. To give Confidential Questions to one side of the Candidate that they Favor, and hiding it from their viewers, then denying it when its exposed. To try and Blame Russia for swinging the election, when they are the ones who actually tried it and got caught. CNN has been totally wrong and they know it since they have Alienated most of the People in the Country, proved by the Polls other News Organizations have take, and CNN is the LEAST Trusted of all.
The more Trump fights them, the Better and Bigger his Base gets, and the more people that watch to see Trump spank them over and over. Trump doesn't want to shut CNN down, since he is having fum ridiculing them in Public, and his Base loves it. The rest of the Country is watching in amusement, and saying they had it coming and laughing at CNN. In the end, CNN worked so hard against Trump to keep him out of Office and actually ended up helping him, by showing the Nation how they Conspired with Hillary and tried to RIG the Election. They did the opposite of what they wanted. ANd we are all Laughing.
