It doesn't matter. No one is going to either turn in their guns or enforce any new laws because that would cause people to throw the current bunch of politicians out.
We are not going to give up any of rights for the forseeable future and while I am pro-life that means abortions also.
These are scare tactic positions, nothing more. "Yeah, I suck and will lie to you and cause you to fall further behind but vote for me, you don't want the other guy".
Can you imagine how the gun confiscation staff meetings would go?
"OK, we need you to go into this densely populated, heavily armed trailer park full of bubbas who are already pissed off at the federal government for outsourcing jobs. They might be drunk too. We then need you to tell them that they have to turn over all of their guns and ammo or bad things are going to happen. Now, we have to do this all over the country, so you have to do this in pairs. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the local and state government will probably try to either stop you or arrest you."

Exactly... I can just picture sending a bunch of highly motivated but subliterate, hyper sensitive snowflake millennials out to confiscate guns from hardened conservative gun owners in trailer parks and farms. LOL! Gawd I would love to see that on film.
