NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams on Wednesday recanted a story he and his network have long perpetuated about his helicopter being shot down while he was covering the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
After being publicly called out for this after telling this lie for years, he claims he just remembered it all wrong. Makes me wonder how many stories he covers that are lies, so that he cannot separate fabrication and sensationalism from the truth.
The guy can't even remember if he was shot down on a helicopter or not. And people trust him to report news accurately? Just like all liberal wind bags, he lives in his own version of reality. As if we needed any more proof.
I remember this one time, Will Smith and I flew an alien spacecraft into the mother ship, implanted a virus and saved the world. I might have remember that wrong.
