Edited to add - I was never that impressed with him anyway, wonder who they're looking at for a replacement?
"wonder who they're looking at for a replacement?"

Another pretty face who can read a teleprompter, since that is all that is required.

He's had his day in the sun.

There are mumbles about Jake Tapper but who knows. With past pics like Couric, who
knows what MSM heads are thinking...
My guess is Leter Holt's fill-in is as much an audition as a stop-gap. But I hope it's Jake Tapper. That'll make it easier to carry on the tradition or more easily altering the name to reflect either their personality or the crap they're trying to shovel us, ala:

-Walter Krapkite
-Dan Blather
-Tom Blowjaw
-Ted Krappel
-Peter Droppings
-Lyin' Williams

and now,

-Loss of Hope, or
-Jake Crapper?

I hear he is talking the time to swap lies with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

And now to try and protect Lyin' Williams they are trying to go after Bill O'Reilly over comments he has made about covering the Falklands in 1982

Williams is done - there's no protecting him.

If a network chooses to fire over lying, O'Reilly's fair game.

Something tells me Fox won't fire him. Lying's part of the job description @ Fox.

Was he the nightly news anchor you watched every day?

He was my Dad's go-to-guy. I don't really do the nightly news every day.

My point wasn't about his suspension as much as that most agree he won't be coming back. Getting fired without getting fired.

What's interesting now is the CBS reporter claiming Argentine wasn't a combat zone but an 'expense account zone.'

We -- meaning the American networks -- were all in the same, modern hotel and we never saw any troops, casualties or weapons. It was not a war zone or even close. It was an "expense account zone."

The riot around the presidential palace was actually short-lived. It consisted mostly of chanting, fist-shaking and throwing coins at the uniformed soldiers who were assembled outside the palace. I did not see any police attacks against demonstrators.
