Well, because Cuba isn't a borderline failed state with violent drug cartels running around. People are more or less safe there. I am concerned for the immigrants who come here to escape violence, poverty, abuse, and human trafficking. Why should we send them right back? Is that moral?
Ok, I will give you my honest answer without trying to be partisan and then hope you will do me the same favor. I do feel sorry for the little children coming here, especially making that far a journey. Having said that, we have so many of our own children living in poverty or in families that are just living paycheck to paycheck. We cannot take care of every child that needs help in the world, that is a statistical fact. I would like to see the money that has been and will be spent, go to children already here. Do you realize the money that has already been spent could have provided food, clothes, etc. for kids here that desperately need it?
First off the article said it was only one in a wide range of things they were considering, so jumping the gun here is typical of Cons. That said, maybe a Con can answer why they are willing to support the automatic protection given to Cubans that come here, even today when they have no real reason to fear for their lives, yet do not give a crap what happens to children coming here to avoid being forced into gangs and violence and some even advocate firing on them? Come on let's hear your reasoning and how you explain your so-called conservative compassion?
Yep, my party is better then yours and so are my illegals. Cubans support {R}s and are welcomed and Hispanics support {D}s so they are welcome. Wilkie had it right " there is not a dimes difference between either party"

Obama is what he always has been a law braking president and continues to do what he wants when political reasons are a play and advantages.
Otherwise he is on the golf course.
When your sending US planes to other countries so you can fly them in is just plain wrong.
What about the topic at hand? Should we send these kids back to violence riddled communist countries, or should we grant them Liberty and Justice here in the US?
