US republicans are the only group of people on this planet, that are stupid enough to (not) believe in man made global warming. Every country/government on this planet is combating global warming.
Let the free market decide if they want to attempt a stop rising sea levels or not. I can guarantee that an ice age would have far more catastrophic effects to the economy than a warmer earth. A warmer earth means a longer growing season, doesn't sound like something you want to stop unless you live near sea level.

The European cap-and-trade system has slid into near meaninglessness as Germany bickers on the sidelines. Hopes that the election in Lower Saxony might resolve the high-level bickering were misguided. Now Europe's carbon market has hit a new low.
Even the believers will start falling by the wayside but your resolve must stay strong. The believers will be rewarded in the next life for their good works on Earth.
