So you ask a question then insult those that might reply, yeah right, that will get you just what any other troll thread attempts to get.

Bombing a country because its dictator gassed its own people doesn't fly with me. Isn't the U.S. involved with enough countries and wars as it is?
Assad claims he did not do it. So who is telling the truth?

And like you said - it doesn't involve us. We have our own problems.

Sounds more like excuses for inane foreign policy than explanations.

The real threat to our national security is sticking our nose in far too many places it doesn't belong while ignoring the problems we have at home.

With your first comment I agree.
Unfortunately with the real possibility of Nukes Iran has to be on our clear and present danger list.

Uh, we've been hearing Iran was weeks away from nukes for how many years now? And there has been a statement by the head of the Mossad that a nuclear Iran was not necessarily a threat.

I would guess it's still years. For me that's close enough.
Of course I would like it to be the truth, but any statement released by the Mossad I would take with a grain of salt.

The US has to justify its bloated Defense budget once in a while. We all know that.

I don't see the US going into many African countries that have been unstable for decades and using real military force.

So they cherry pick when to use real force.
