Is BC over the counter in Europe? This map says different. Practically everyone except N. America, Europe, and Australia have BC available over the counter or used to.

That's unfortunate because research has shown there is a correlation between degree of religiosity and rates of teenage pregnancy. The higher the religiosity in a community, the higher the teenage pregnancy rate.

Mitch McConnell wants to ban birth control coverage for any reason.
Yep, if a woman will certainly die if she gets pregnant, who cares?

Ah, more abstinence success stories!

I have no problem with several types of bc pills sold over the counter but it has to go hand in hand with two things:
1) medical examination to see if the otc pills are going to be both safe and effective for the individual woman; and,
2) schools provide a comprehensive, science and fact-based, sex ed curriculum.

I just don't see that happening in the whackaloon religious, anti-woman and anti-education environment in the US.
And I don't see teenagers going to their parents (who pay their medical bills) to get the pill because they're sexually active.
If they're living in that type of environment (highly religious), it's unlikely to happen.

Another reason to hope Ashley Judd replaces that stupid old fool.

When you get a heart attack, cancer, or in a car accident, don't forget to pay your own way, too.
Cholesterol dropping medication, buy your own; PTSD, depression, etc., buy your own.
Self-medicating works so well.
Are you against all medications, or only those affecting women specifically?

Don't forget those lovely christian pharmacists who won't carry or fill prescriptions for women's reproductive choices.
Viagra is for men and I suggested it shouldn't be covered, either.

Guess I hate men, also.

No, not at all. Instead if people can't afford birth control then they shouldn't be having sex (though birth control is cheap from PP).

One thing I would like to point out.

The consequences of a man not being able to get an erection are nil.

The consequences of a woman having an unplanned pregnancy can be catastrophic.

viagara =/= birth control.
Sorry that this is so difficult for you to understand.

Some of you are so dense. Not paying for something is not the same as banning it. I don't care if birth control of abortion is legal I don't want to pay. I also don't want to pay for junk food but don't want to ban it either.
