I don't advocate for full removal of guns. But there should be some control. Like, one per customer.
And I don't see the need for anyone to have a gun that can spray 16-20 bullets in 4 seconds. Having that kind of weaponry available makes murderous people more successful.

These days the only escape is to venture out into cold well below 0. That ilk seems rather fond of burning OIL to stay warm. I plan to burn another oil until I lean out to around 145 pounds, and am about as hard a jerky.

For a firearm to be dropped, jammed, or fall over - they must have been placed in such circumstances by a human being.
That is why the only safe solution is to ban people.
