Since banning guns will do next to nothing to prevent gun violence why don't we do something that is 100% effective.

Should we ban people?
Yes, let's start with the teabaggers, those guys are nutty

Ha-ha.

I would be included in the general ban if one were implemented.

Then why do you propose banning people? It sounds just as irrational.

Strange i thought violent criminals killed people, not just with guns but all sorts of house hold items and sometimes bare hands.
I know that common sense isn't so common in today's society but shouldn't our countries focus be on how to control and punish violent criminals? I've been a firearms enthusiast for 20 years and never assaulted anyone. There are millions of us.
I sent over 200 rounds down range today and the only thing that got hurt was the paper targets. Criminals are the issue here.

Only a full-automatic weapon can fire at the rate of fire you mention. Legally owned full-automatic weapons have only been used illegally TWO times in this country since 1934!

There was a doctor that killed another doctor with a legally owned MAC-11 .380 machine pistol in Lodi, OH in 1992.

There was a police officer that used one illegally: On September 15th, 1988, a 13-year veteran of the Dayton, Ohio police department, Patrolman Roger Waller, then 32, used his fully automatic MAC-11 .380 caliber submachine gun to kill a police informant, 52-year-old Lawrence Hileman. Patrolman Waller pleaded guilty in 1990, and he and an accomplice were sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Full-automatic firearms are strictly regulated & extremely expensive. So, what exactly are you advocating? I advocate people like you learn what you're talking about before making ridiculous posts!

And I don't see the need for anyone to have a gun that can spray 16-20 bullets in 4 seconds. Having that kind of weaponry available makes murderous people more successful.

It's called demonstrating absurdity by being absurd.

What does this even mean - especially in respect to the topic of the thread?
