Pay the govt to live in a house. Pay the govt to own a car. Pay the govt again to operate a car. Pay the govt to eat. Pay the govt to wash your hands. Pay them for anything that isnt breathing, basically...

I agree.

Our society has become totally dominated by government. Government tells us what we can eat, drink, smoke, grow, when we can open a business, what we can sell and when we can sell it, how much we have to pay employees, what we can sell on certain days, the hours we can keep our business open, etc, etc.

Statism rules.

Yes, its sad that the leading country in the free world, is becoming increasingly authoritarian. theres the old 'freedom vs liberty' franklin or jefferson quote, but i guess they didnt have ubiquitous 24 hr CCTV back then.

Russia, on the other hand, looks like its increasingly free.

While this is indeed a fantastic piece of legislation, I can't imagine the DOJ and/or the ATF not making every possible attempt to halt its enforcement.

When my state passed a Firearms Freedom Act back in 2009 (which declared all firearms manufactured within the state of MT as exempt from federal regulations), the ATF promptly asserted their bureaucratic, commandeering "authority" over local firearm manufacturers. The state's pro-gun groups are still litigating in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals after a federal blackrobe dismissed their lawsuit.

Best of luck to Wyoming.
