Washington, which only Wednesday voiced fulsome praise for Mursi.

A perfect example how much you can trust the government. Mursi just gave himself dictatorship powers the day after Clinton and the WH praised him.

I wonder if they have Obama supporters over there. We can loan them our Obama supporters if the Pharaoh wants to increase the number of protestors, maybe the unions can send people over too. Let's bus them to the airport and fly them over there.

Truth be told a GOP presidents position would be similar to Obamas. There's this idea that democracy is the tonic that will solve the worlds problems that crosses party lines. It's woefully misguided IMHO.

Actually, the trouble makers are the intolerant partisans, you know, those who are quick to dismiss and label and entire faction of people. ; ) Sound familiar?

I, also, fail to see how this is Obama's fault. Not that I think he did a great job integrating our policy with this entire cluster f***, but Egypt is a sovereign state, and they control their internal affairs.

I'm sick of our foreign policy thinking it can dictate the structure and policy of other governments, it's expensive and unsustainable.

Different country, different people, different world view, different democracy. American style democracy does not take root well in most of the world, but democracy is infectious, and is winning over theocracy, dictatorship, and other systems everywhere lately. Democracy becomes what it's people want it to be.
