You can't fool Mother Nature, you pick what you plant.

If people can't/won't learn to live together, sooner or later they'll die together. My only concern is keeping Americans out of that equation.

I can't help but to wonder if this is exactly what Israel wants, a conflict to bait Iran, then to justify taking out their nuclear reactors. I wouldn't be surprised if Israel is fabricating some of these "Syrian mortar attacks" so as to rev up the tension and bait Iran in. Might be a good way to finally justify the attack they've been waiting for.

Operation Northwoods, anyone?
Um, did Turkey fabricate their problems with Syria too or is it just those crafy Jooooooos?

Seriously, it's the freaking middle east, not exactly the sanest most rationale bunch of well run moderate countries. To spin things so that it's always Israel as the bad guy (or good guy) is pretty pathetic.

For every death there have been about 7 casualities, and Palestinians have also suffered a far greater number of these.

I don't thin Israel is the bad guy, not at all. I think their hands have been tied by foreign pressure to use restraint, and this may finally be an opportunity for Israel to get the green light and blow some sh*t up.
