Krugman and The Nation are definitely very partisan, anti-right, and anti-conservative, but what I'm looking for are the types of articles based on personal-type attacks on entire political persuasions, sort of Ann-Coulter Left (or Ann Coulter Lite Left). The first article I get when I google "The Nation" and "conservative" together is this article that commends a conservative group for standing up for the Constitution, as they see it:
I don't read Paul Krugman except for the occasions that I skim through the New York times, but he seems more anti-Bush and anti-Republican than consumed with hatred for conservatives... maybe I'm wrong.
But, as I said, I know I'm fighting a losing battle and will be put in my place soon enough, I'm just trying to keep the game going.
EDIT:
Actually, as it turns out, Krugman does indeed have an article on the internet that accuses conservatives in general of being callous and uncaring
Geez, liberal idiots have been around for years spewing junk such as "when fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross". Sinclair Lewis was an idiot then and remains one far after his death. A drug addict as well. Liberalism has the stronghold on fascism.
I for one am glad for the conservative columnists that we have out there. They have a market and a great sense of humor. They know how to push the liberals buttons and it seems to work quite well. Rush says it best when he states that if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at.

Maybe you can complete the challenge by providing the final half-Coulter!

Amen Bro! Nicely said!
Conservative writers & broadcasters have the Libs' number. More importantly they have the truth—and the truth is deadly to Liberalism. Libs can never win in the marketplace of ideas, 'cuz their ideas are bankrupt, unnatural and disastrous. So instead of competing honestly they resort to smear campaigns, name-calling, and Stalinist tactics to silence their opponents (i.e. the "Fairness" Doctrine, witch hunts, legal threats, boycotts, etc).
Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, Boortz, Beck, etal. are the true heroes and patriots.
And yes, Sinclair Lewis was and is an idiot. So was Upton Sinclair—another pinko socialist dweeb whose name I often get mixed up w/his
"The vision of the left, full of envy and resentment, takes its worst toll on those at the bottom -- whether black or white -- who find in that paranoid vision an excuse for counterproductive and ultimately self-destructive attitudes and behavior."
Liberals are all about self-congratulation,
"A review of one of the many environmentalist books says that even if you can’t do all you would like toward “living green,” you can at least “congratulate yourself on taking small steps to improve the planet.” That is what environmentalism — and much else on the political Left’s agenda — is really all about, self congratulation."
You're misunderstanding me... she wrote the "I Like Conservatives" article a year BEFORE the other article, so she'd already established what she believed to be the difference in the two groups. It's not that she said something mean about conservatives and then redeemed herself later, it's that she SEPARATED what she considered to be "conservatives" and "right wing nuts" before hand, and then made fun of the latter in the article you posted. #2 could be construed as either an attack on conservatives in general as being "greedy," or an attack specifically on rich, powerful Republicans whom she accuses of tricking the populace (conservative or liberal), which is why I gave you a half.
I'm sure you'll win, as you have time on your side, I'm just trying to keep it going as long as I can.
That, I like conservatives bull is just to show how "fair and balanced" she is. I've heard the same junk out of conservative pundits explaining how they have "liberal friends" blah blah blah.
In my first quote, Ivins was NOT solely picking on republican politicians but mentioned it as a political bow to racism (this means they are doing it to get\keep votes and if that's not blanket calling republican base racist then I don't know what is.). Also cited how there are all these racist right-wing websites.

I think your posts here exemplify exactly what the OP was referring to. You use "idiot", "junk", "idiot" and "drug addict" (posthumously). Earlier, you practically insulted the OP by writing how they obviously haven't read Molly Ivins or Al Franken. I find the latter of these two to be well-supported by fact and highly entertaining (if not sobering). Finally, in this post, you dismiss serious discussion altogether and reduce it to the meanest thing of all: laughing at other human beings.
I for one don't laugh at idiots. I even hesitate to laugh at people who should know better. It's cruel, you know. I might, if allowed, laugh at anyone who can't see how clearly conservatives are much closer to fascism. There won't ever be a liberal totalitarian state--it's an oxymoron.
I'm not a liberal, in fact, whenever a conservative describes one, I scan my brain for any person in my life who fits the bill. You know what? There hasn't been any! But, boy, have I bumped into the kind of conservative the OP describes. We all know them very well. Whatever hatred they see in a liberal is completely unsupported by fact. To claim, as they do, that they hate freedom, they hate America, they are for men molesting boys, they are for higher taxes, they want us all to wear Burqas and carry Korans...I mean, the list is endless! I do know this: conservatives are full of real, identifiable hatred even though that hatred has been proven to have little or no basis in reality. Liberals have difficulty responding to this perhaps because they know that that approach is both impractical and counterproductive.
One day when the dust settles, it'll be readily apparent that the goal of both sides was virtually the same. It was the approach, in direct response to the insanity of our times that ultimately doomed us to failure. Neither side will win when both sides get farther apart.

I think that is a lame exclusion.
Well... we'll have to agree to disagree. I'm trying not to be partisan, maybe I can't help it, but to me it doesn't fit the criteria. I wouldn't think it fit the criteria if someone accused "the far left faction of the Democratic Party" of being racist, if they had earlier separated that faction from "liberals" as a whole. My issue isn't that she said that she "likes conservatives," but that she explicitly separates the two terms... it seems obvious from the quote that she's not referring to the WHOLE Republican party or the WHOLE of conservative America but instead the right wing of that America. But you definitely have got me down for the count... after the above Paul Krugman article only one Half Coulter remains for me to exact my self-imposed punishment.
