There are two RT web sites, one text news the other RT On Air

RT

On air

Are they pure propaganda? No, no worse than MSNBC

The RT On Air does have some interesting shows.

All in all considering that America has the highest prison population in the world and we have more government/city regulations than Russia does it's not bad, plus it might get some people to get their heads out of the sand and see America as another country does...

OMG, that's heresy, in fact it's downright "unpatriotic"! Haven't you ever heard of "American Exceptionalism" (aka, we're "Special")?!!

Yeah, it's pretty ironic that for all the wealth of information and choices at our disposal in this country, instead most of the population seems to end up "consuming" just the same limited "menu"... and most of that is probably the info. equivalent of "junk food" anyway!

Default Why does anybody watch RT?

I never heard of RT or anyone who's ever watched it.

I have MhZ Worldview TV services on Comcast and I love wathing RT, although I do agree that there is certainly a left slant to many things. Just last night they had a story about election fraud and talked about all the employers who were sending out messages to their employees regarding the election. There was some guy the anchor interviewed that played some audio of Mitt Romney and then stated that Romney was encouraging business owners to vote FOR HIM (Romney). No where in the audio did Romney even suggest that anyone vote for him but rather that people should simply exercise their right to vote.

Stuff like this bothers me and I see it more and more in the non-American media nowadays, which leads me to believe that no news organization is truly objective. Yes this segment was editorial but it was also blatantly and obviously slanted.

RT TV seems to only be available on MHz Networks (in the Washington DC area)...

RT (TV network) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It streams quite well: On air

Let me say, stay ignorant my fellow Americans, only watch American MSM, contribute to the dumbing down of America... Don't bother to read other countries media (which are published in English on the web)....

This liberal stops to watch RT when I fall on it when channel surfing. I find some of the stories interesting because I am always interested in a different perspective. But respect RT, not on your life. I have no more trust for The Voice of Putin than the Morning Murdoch.

I am not a progressive liberal and watch RT TV on a regular basis...

With that being said I would like to remind RT watchers to consider who is doing the criticizing. Can’t you see that there is an agenda here?
Now who would have thought let alone imagined that a state sponsored media organization originating in Russia would have an agenda...

I'm sure nobody would think that Radio Free Europe had an agenda either.....

We all know that Al Jazeera reports the news in a completely unbiased manner....
