[quote=Fox Terrier;26259756]Really? Most likely because Obama is getting things done, unlike bush.
Same thing in Iraq?
"Getting things done"? That is your response to someone reminding you that there are more deaths under obama's leadership than Bush's? Were all of those deaths just "Bumps in the road" too? Wow! You really do think like your sick leader. obama would be so proud of you. You should be ashamed of yourself for thinking that way.
Everybody has a cliche' they invariably overuse. He just speaks publicly more than, well, anyone else.
I think overall he's a fantastic speaker with a gift for eloquence.
"And I would make this perfectly clear that I admire the corpse men that have served so honorably and that other corpse men are now attaining the same call to duty, especially, the corpse men that I have met in all 57 States and with still one more to go."
A good chunk of the people will always adore a slick salesman because he offers and guarantees the product(s) they believe they want/need. A successful community organizer is adept at spinning lies and motivating his flock to adopt his bidding, no matter who it is that gave him their orders, as that is the priority objective to a community organizer's function. The stock phrases and all that are just tools of the trade when one's trade is as sales/spokesperson for the powerful, his bankrollers.
Interesting enough, I came across G.W. Bush on BBC addressing some influential group in Jerusalem back near the end of his second term. There was none of the "uhm's", "er's", "ahh's" always rolling out of his mouth and that usual mask of the perplexed doofus he wore was gone. He was startingly succinct and intelligent-sounding because he wasn't speaking to an American audience watching him on TV.
Ditto from here. When liberals continually waste their energies trying to convince people that right is wrong and wrong is right, then it's a safe bet that Darth Barry's idea of being clear is nothing but the dirtiest mud on earth.
meh. Everyone has their own little catchphrase. It's called being human. I mean, if you're really going to be this petty, the only thing I can think of to say is...
Isn't it amazing how the man repeats the same phrases when he doesnt have a teleprompter in front of him. As a fan of William jefferson Clinton and his brilliant State of the Union Address in 1994 in which the teleprompter stopped working, I often have wondered if that happened to Obama during the State of the Union how he would respond.
Is anyone else tired of hearing Obama? Some days, I envy the deaf, and wish Obutthead was mute.
