You can see that right here in CD, all the left loonies refuse to admit it is a tax. It's all they have to hang their hats on. In reality, it just affirms how ignorant they really are...
The mandate tax/penalty by itself is peanuts. It hardly has a significant impact on anyone's tax burden.
The significant impact to tax burdens may come later, depending on how this law is ultimately implemented, in the form of excise taxes on high-end plans, medical devices, etc. That's another story.
Wait til the subsidies kick in...400% above poverty line so now middle class qualifies for subsidies.
