Maybe this is what a good number of stay-at-home parents need to start Homeschooling! Hope so...

Here's the page about it at the San Antonio newspaper.

They don't teach this in history classes anymore but I remember being told that there was a leader of a nation in Europe during the late 1930's-early 1940's that use to tattoo numbers on peoples forearm. We're much more advanced and civilized these days, now we use microchips.

Good luck with that one.
The schools already know that the kids will lose the ID cards like crazy. That will then be the excuse that implantable RFID's are necessary. I bet this is nothing more than a research project to see how far they can go.

Do you all really think this issue will not end up in the courts? Do you really think all the parents of these students are going to be pleased with this project and not challenge it?

The American Civil Liberties Union fought the use of the technology in 2005 at a rural elementary school in California and helped get the program canceled, said Kirsten Bokenkamp, an ACLU spokeswoman in Texas.[LEFT]

To be honest, I do not think this is a left-right issue. There are still a lot of liberals that value freedom who I am sure will speak out about this.

Yeah mine lose theirs all the time. Now I'm sure they will "lose" them more often or put em all in somebody's backpack and toss it into a river and watch the swat team show up to try and save em all. Kids aren't stupid.

Note why they are doing this.........funding. All these people care about is money. Schools are becoming prisons.

At the rate that Americans are giving up their rights voluntarily, it would not surprise me a bit if only a few parents protested this and were viewed as nutjobs because of it.
