I swear, for people that claim that they don't bring up race, they sure do bring up race a lot. Anyway, lets at least not pretend that Trayvon was burglarizing a house the night he died or that he was doing anything illegal. The kid was simply walking home which somehow made an armed grown man scared enough to get out of his safe truck against the instruction of law enforcement, corner the kid, get his ass whipped as he should have and resort to shooting the kid because his ego got the better of him....oh yeah, I wouldn't have trayvon martin day either. I find it silly.
Click on the suspects tab. Sort by Race....there are close to 200 suspects listed....2 are white.
But hey, let's not talk about that. We need to use Trayvon so we can warn our kids in DC that racist whites are just out there gunning us down left and right.
Why not choose one of the young men that got involved in drugs and gangs and have a day named after him?
I visit this site from time to time. I love how some of the friends and family members post on there that their kid or friend was an angel on earth.
I'm all over the TM threads stating that Zimmerman should face charges for his actions.
However, now that he is facing charges I'm addressing the ludicrous claims that this is some sort of posterchild occurrence when in reality it's rare as heck realitive to the typical shooting of a young black male like Trayvon.
People don't want to face the unpleasant truth. Trying to make the incident racial and "typical" is a defense mechanism against the ugly reality of a major problem.

Perhaps we should have a George Zimmerman day where everyone sits around taking adderall, makes fun of minorities, abuses their significant others, applies for jobs on the police force while beating on punching bags of police men, shoots at targets of young black males in hoodies and wins prizes for hitting the head or the heart after they stalk the moving target but say it is his fault for looking suspicious and buying a some candy and a beverage. After that, everyone can move on to demonizing the victim by finding pictures and videos of black males with gold teeth, sticking up their middle finger and fighting - they can then claim it is the boy in the hoodie on the target (whether or not it is) because after all, anyone who shoots a"young black thug" deserves a medal of honor, even if they are dillusional person with other mental issues and a history of aggressive behavior - they should get away with murder. As long as they are murdering a black male because black males are the route of all evil. [/Sarcasm]

the principal had to leave early because she was receiving death threats all day from across the country on something that was blown out of proportion.
Perhaps they chose Trayvon Martin because the shooting of young black males is the local sport of choice in DC.
Yes....those OTHER young black males certainly do take pleasure in gunning down their own kind don't they?
