Well, then you really are an anomaly. Harry Browne? OK then.

As are you. Democrats crafted the major crash and Obama tried to spend his way out of it. Now he is trying to do it again.

And we are in a doulbe dip recession thanks to your job-killing hero.

Even after the formal withdrawal, the military still has two bases in Iraq and roughly 4,000 troops. At the height of the war in 2007, there were 505 bases and more than 170,000 troops. More than one million service members served in Iraq during the course of the conflict.

Even as the military reduces its troop strength in Iraq, the C.I.A. will continue to have a major presence in the country, as will security contractors working for the State Department.

For the president, facing a re-election battle in which his conduct of the war is likely to be debated into November, the visit is laden with political significance. Senior officials said the agreement showcased Mr. Obama’s determination to end the war responsibly, even as they conceded that the country that American troops leave behind will be a messy, violent place, where the Taliban will keep a foothold.

Still, the agreement, a senior administration official told reporters traveling on Air Force One, will give the United States “the capacity to carry out the counterterrorism operations that are necessary for Al Qaeda not to resettle,” and help ensure “a regional equilibrium that serves our national security interest — and that’s ultimately why we went in there in the first place.”

All the rest of that nonsense is a GD lie too. You remember:

When are you folks going to get it through your skulls that Obama is Bush is Clinton is Bush Sr. is the U.S. global geopolitical strategy and it makes not one difference who the CIC is?

Job killing? You are wrong again. I'll give you credit, though, you are remarkably consistent.

Actually, it was tax cuts for everyone who pays taxes (and even for some who didn't). It wasn't just for "the rich."

Also tax cuts don't cause a deficit; overspending does.
