I'm a little leery of guys in hoodies. I know its mostly just an image look like wearing bling or trying to pose as a gangsta but when somebody has their face covered by a hoodie I'm just suspicious no matter if they're white, black or hispainc. It used to be the same with ski masks.
Zimmerman was aparently suspicious because he didn't recognize Trayvon from being in the neighborhood. He was also gung ho and a cop wannabe, not the type I'd want to have to be around or put up with. Something happened to provoke an altercation between them. I doubt lethal force was justified but there was so much exploitation and media sensationalism that some defense of Zimmerman has to be at least considered. The police should be blamed for not being more open and professional in their handling of the case but the media should be doubly condemned for doing an even worse job after the fact. Not to mention all the hustlers and hate merchants who swarmed in like a pack of vultures to get their peice of the tragedy.

Many people might die. People died here after Rodney King and they were not all black. In fact not even the majority of the dead were black. Blacks have guns too you know.

You and some of the others may want to pull the reins because it very well could become clear that you are backing the wrong horse. I also think it's absurd we have another thread on this subject. I guess OP feels his opinion is more valid than anyone elses.
How can it become more clear? You are only going on Zimmerman's statement. You might want to pull those reins in as well.

So, if citizens felt they were this man's jury..which they do...you don't feel he has the right to a proper investigation & if police found needed, a jury trial? You saying avg joe citizen, who doesn't know this man or young man, has a right to harass & threaten him, as if they were appointed our nation's jury?

TM shooting aside.......

'Child' is one of those qualitative words often used to evoke emotions and sympathy in politically motivated situations. Child, rich, poor are words that may be used to bolster a weak argument and deflect quantitative rebuttal.

Most gang members are less than 16 years of age. "children" are used, even by uneducated thugs, to commit crimes without the penaties accorded "adults", defined as 18 years and older.

The shooting is sensationalized to further the racial divide to compliment the class warfare strategy. Hundreds of child gang members are killing each other along with innocent bystanders and not a peep.

Thow in a lightened, old photo to emphasize the 'white' rather than the 'hispanic' and wearing an orange looking prison jump suit, and you have the case wrapped up. Portray the person killed as a 'child' through use of a photo selection process and what you end up with is vigilante justice where the news media is inciting a riot. This is a demonstration of the biased propaganda machine the media has become. Who knows how the investigation will go but influencing public opinion will ensure a well prepared jury pool to find in favor of the 'child' to further whatever agenda people like the NBP and Spike Lee wish to promote.

He could but they have to find someone like me. I am totally disregarding any news/TV on this story. I refuse to listen to all the speculation and what the media deems fit to be told.

I'm sure that there are 10-12 other people in the U.S. like me.

The question is whether Trayvon can get a "fair trial". Don't worry about Zimmerman. His dad is a judge and the family is pretty loaded with cash from what I have heard. He will hire the best legal talent money can buy. Probably Casey Anthony's team.

Real big difference.
The kid did have the right to ask "Why are you following me?" The kid did have the right to defend himself if Zimmerman pulled a gun and the kid smoked him with punches and was more agile than him and could easily stay out of his reach because Trayvon had longer arms than Zimmerman and Zimmerman was over weight. Thus some might assume the Trayvon was the aggressor. Zimmerman stated he thought that Trayvon was trying to take his gun from him. How would Trayvon even know that Zimmerman had a gun unless he displayed it?

ANSWER ME THAT!

I think a lot of the rage being vented is because the police blew this investigation from the beginning. Toxicolgy tests for Trayvon but none for the shooter. HOW COME? ONE OF THE COPS CORRECTED A WITNESS! Terrible police work.

Shouldn't a case where a child is shot to death be thoroughly investigated regardless? Why is it good enough for an adult to say, "He was trying to hurt me so I shot him" and that's that?

It makes absolutely no sense.
That was no child and I am glad he's dead.

what was it about treyvon that looked 'suspicious"

the bottom line is a kid died because he bought skittles, and yet there is no one arrested.

I can't believe some people see this ANY differently.
Because he was black and because he pulled up his "hoodie" probably because it was cold and raining (he did not have it pulled up in the store where he bought the Skittles).
