Please quote anything I or other liberals in this thread have said that is remotely socialist.

Socialist isn't defined as "Things you don't like"

Today's liberals are socialists. They have hijacked the term to hide from their "progressivism".

But, they are what they are: Marxist/socialist.
Yes, I know. Liberty to a modern day conservative means maintaining the Constitutional rights and freedoms, which protect us from an oppressive government, filled with people trying to control our lives as they see fit. Liberty to a modern day liberal means the exact opposite, it means a central government which is powerful enough to force a sort of egalitarian, Utopian society, funded thru exorbitantly high taxes, coupled with federal laws and regulations to control our choices and behavior.

Social support for those who need it: Nope - only for their rich buddies.
Science: Actively attack it (evolution, climate change, etc) and try to replace it with religion.
Fair Taxation: Nope. Loopholes for their cronies and rich people. Those in the middle get screwed.
Local Control of Education: Sometimes. Only when they think going local is a better way to achieve their goals of turning the classroom into a church.
Separation of church and state: Nope. They want (Christian) religion in our classrooms, in our laws, in our constitution.
Sounds like you have been brainwashed my friend... learn to think for yourself.... the OP does sound awfully selfish and Republican
