Weekly applications for unemployment benefits jump to 399,000 because of seasonal layoffs

You liberals were celebrating 200,000 new jobs using it as a sign of economic prosperity and how successful Obamas programs were, even though I directly told you those numbers were low and seasonal.. Todays news validated I was correct again.

Will you now come back and use these figures as a representation that the economy has tanked? No, you'll blame the GOP I'm sure..

Yep. Here's the evidence. Conservatives being pragmatic and knowledegable. Liberals being their usual biased, easily-fooled, Obamatronic selves.

At what point do liberals start feeling embarrassed for being pawns of the media and this Administration?

Applications for Unemployment insurance is not a seasonally adjusted figure.

The 200,0000 new jobs figure in December is seasonally adjusted.

This is not a Conservative/Liberal thing. This is a factual thing.

Regardless, the increased number applications are certainly not a good sign for the economy. Wouldn't you agree?

Only if you operate in absolutes and detest perspective/details. Is it unusual for an increase in such applications in the first few weeks in January?

If liberals are celebrating 200,000 new jobs, what do you call someone who is celebrating 390,000 layoffs?

The number of people claiming unemployment went up, yes. HOWEVER, the overall unemployment rate is still falling.

So are things getting better fast enough? No. Are things getting better though? Yep.

Unemployment claims tick up again - Jan. 12, 2012

Read the whole story here, not the partisan original post that only tells half truths.

Technically, the same collective, the "Real Americans" that blames "lazy Mexicans" for taking away jobs from hard working Americans.

"Conservative". Or, as I sometimes call them... Con-men (and women).

Because so many people have dropped out of the labor force. If people see hiring picking up, a lot of these people may start to return to the labor force, causing the unemployment rate to increase.
